On 3 March 2026, at ROMEXPO - Pavilion B2, the Romanian Smart City Association (ARSC) held a new edition of the Congress of Mayors and Local Administration of Romania, one of the country's most important events for local government and community modernisation. It took place within the Green Energy Expo & Romenvirotec exhibition and brought together mayors, government representatives, national and European institutions, companies and experts working on infrastructure and smart community projects.
The Congress was designed as a practical dialogue between local government and the technology, energy and finance ecosystem. Participants discussed digitalisation, the energy transition, funding for public projects and the transformation of local government.
